In 2018, 8.5 miles of hiking and biking trails were added to the center, thanks to funding from the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs. This trail system features seven scenic trails. Each varies in difficulty, welcoming walkers, hikers, and bikers year-round. There are two lower trails—Creekside and Ladybug Loop. The other five—Nita’s View, Bob’s Ledges, Waterfall Loop, Guardian Angels, and Skyview—are mountainside trails.
